Purchasing & Shipping

I want you to be happy with your new ceramics. If you have any questions please contact me in advance at info@jameshake.co.uk
Every care has been taken to show my ceramics as accurately as possible with regard to size and colour. The image you see online may show a difference due to slight variation between browsers, devices and screen settings. Any variation between the image represented and the actual artwork is not deemed a fault and slight inconsistencies will not be a valid reason for return.
Every pot that I make is unique and is therefore subject to variations within groups of pots. This is partly due to natural variations in the materials that I use to make the pot – clays, rocks and wood ashes – and partly due to the firing itself. Small differences in temperature and atmosphere in the kiln can create a range of qualities in clays and glazes, which I actively encourage. I make and fire my work with great care and check every piece thoroughly before posting.

Policy re: EU
Currently (April 2021) it’s not clear what extra charges will be made for EU customers therefore, I have removed EU countries from the checkout options.
BUT – if there is something you have seen and love and are OK with the possible fees charged at customs do please email me. We just don’t want surprises!
